Resources

The Responsible Dog Breeders Network was designed to make finding responsible breeders
 as simple as possible.

To that end, scrolling  down will reveal a list of breeds in alphabetical order.

Simply click on the breed in which you are interested to find both the health-screening required for a CHIC # as well as a list of breeders who are part of the responsible breeders network.

Breeds in italics have breeder listings; new breeds are  italicized as  more responsible breeders join the network.

In addition to name  and location, each listing also  includes contact information, a link to that breeder's CHIC page, and a link to each breeder's individual website, where you will find lots more photos and individual information, including whether they currently have puppies available.

Please take the time to completely read through each individual breeder's website before contacting that breeder, as you will often find many of your questions already answered there. Although responsible breeders are passionate about their dogs and enjoy educating the public about the breed they love, it's also good to remember that most of them have families and "real" jobs in addition to their dogs. Try not to call at  dinnertime.
